OUR PEOPLE

My motivation to be a part of this venture is to empower children and young people to demand nutritious food.
My day begins before the sun has even risen. I have a slew of tasks running through my head but the most important at the top of the list is my children’s food choices. Amongst all my chores, I am the most excited about a new task of setting up a wood pressed oil unit. While working on the project and reading through the net, I realised the benefits of using wood pressed oil in my children’s food, nutrition and their overall growth. In India, cold pressed oil is one of the traditional methods of extracting oil. It is pure, chemical-free and unrefined. Today, while we have several refined and processed oils in the market, cold pressed is back and gaining its popularity. Unlike refined oils, cold pressed ones do not come with any adverse effects caused by intense heat or chemicals and does not contain harmful solvent residues. I understood that kids aren’t born with a craving for french fries and burger or an aversion to eating beans and carrots. This conditioning happens over time as they’re exposed to more and more unhealthy food choices. However, it is possible to reprogram your children’s food preferences so that they crave healthier foods instead. These oils add flavour and nutrition to your food, while also making your child's skin and hair healthier. These oils can also be used for your baby's skin and hair safely. The healthy nutrients of cold pressed oil nourishes your child. My motivation to be a part of this venture is to empower children and young people to demand nutritious food.

What motivates me to build INARA is the fact that it is an important step towards a healthy lifestyle.
I've been working in the field of media for 16 years now. Our food habits are a vital part of our lives. What motivates me to build INARA is the fact that it is an important step towards a healthy lifestyle. We live in a world of fast food, where almost everything we consume is adulterated and produced using chemicals. INARA's oils take us back to our roots, before the industrial era, where going natural was the only way to go. Through my media background, I would like to maximise awareness amongst people about the hazards of using refined oils, and the benefits of switching to our INARA oils.

I feel it is my responsibility to get more and more people to go back to our traditional ways of farming and cooking.
For more than 10 years, I have been committed to natural farming. I realised how chemical fertilizers and pesticides destroy our ecosystem. So, the opportunity of working in setting up a unit for wood pressed oils was very exciting and a new learning experience for me. Oils extracted through traditional methods retain their properties and nutrition. I learnt that every state uses different food and seeds suitable to their climatic conditions. Mustard and mustard oil is used widely in the north, whereas coconut and coconut oil in the south. The one common factor is that oil is a very basic ingredient necessary to cook a meal. This made me delve deeper into the benefits of wood pressed oils. It is unprocessed - no added preservatives or chemicals and high in vitamin E and micro nutrients that are vital for our holistic well-being. It is completely free from trans-fat and retains antioxidants. As it is manually filtered, it is more viscous and retains the flavour fully. This helps in lesser consumption (at least by 20%) of the oil as compared to the industrially processed refined oil. I feel it is my responsibility to get more and more people to go back to our traditional ways of farming and cooking.
